Chiropractic is a health care profession that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of neuro-muscular disorders. We use a non invasive hands on approach to manipulate the spine and extremities. The purpose of spinal manipulation is to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into joints that have become restricted as a result of a tissue injury. Tissue injury can be caused by a single traumatic event, such as improper lifting of a heavy object or through repetitive stresses, such as sitting in an awkward position with poor spinal posture for an extended period of time. Our chiropractors are also certified in ART, Active-Release Techniques.

Our chiropractors are well trained to dispense custom orthotics which are corrective medical devices that are inserted into your shoes. They look like regular insoles but they are actually an imprint of your own foot which allows for improved alignment and posture of the foot and entire body thereby decreasing dysfunction in the body. We use a state of the art 3D Occipital Structure Sensor Scan which allows us to record up to a million points of data which can show us bio-mechanical flaws in an individuals foot. Symptoms of poor foot mechanics can include:

Localized foot pain
Achilles tendon injuries
Plantar Fasciitis
Bunions
Arch/heel pain
Leg/knee pain
Hip/back pain

Our chiropractors also prescribe orthopedic braces to aid in protecting, stabilizing, supporting and correcting injuries or abnormal alignment through the process of rehabilitation and recovery. They are used in injury rehabilitation, injury prevention, osteoarthritic care, post-operative care and more. We provide custom and off-the-shelf braces which include:
Custom Ankle Brace
Custom Elbow Brace
Custom Foot Brace
Custom Knee Brace

Acupuncture is the most common modality of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is a practice involving insertion of small stainless-steel needles to stimulate specific areas of the body to restore balance and healing. If the flow of qi (chi) or energy becomes unbalanced. The needles are inserted along the meridians to allow free flow of blood and qi (chi). Acupuncture also aids in blood circulation by creating micro-therapeutic injuries with the needle insertion, creating blood flow to the injured area. In addition, certain points are also used to reduce inflammation and release endorphins for analgesic effects.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is a health care profession that focuses on balance, harmony, and healing of the internal body. It was developed based on clinical experiences accumulated for over 2000 years. TCM’s key principle encompasses the notion your body is an integrated whole. It is not about treating the symptoms of a disease, but the root cause. According to the theory, the human body consists of channels through which Qi (chi) flows. Qi is the vital life energy force that governs the body’s circulation, metabolism, transportation, cleansing, and healing. If this energy flow is disrupted, blockages will form, and pain or other illnesses will arise. The goal is to remove these blockages and nourish the body for optimal energy and blood flow to circulate smoothly and return the body into its natural balance.
TCM utilizes many different treatment modalities: Acupuncture, Electro-Acupuncture, Cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na, Nutritional Therapy, and Herbal Medicine.
